Service Description
We will visit Laguna Chaxa with flamingos in the Salar de Atacama, the Miscanti and Miñiques Altiplanic Lagoons. We will enjoy panoramic views of the Salar de Atacama, impressive landscapes, and the amazing Piedras Rojas. Schedule: ⦿ Departure 06:00 hrs / Return 16:00 hrs (check, could be modified) Included: ✓ Pick up at the hotel (urban area), shared transportation, bilingual guide (Spanish & English), breakfast and lunch. Not Included: ✕ The entrance to the park. What to bring? ℃ Warm clothing, comfortable shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, 1.5 liters of still water per person. Observations: ◁ Maximum altitude: 4,200 MSNM Restrictions: Not allowed for pregnant women. Minimum age requirement is 10 years. People with uncontrolled hypertension. (Admission must be paid with the tour reservation by transfer or in cash) Passengers are advised not to consume alcohol or red meat the night before the tour.
Cancellation Policy
Until when can I cancel without charge? You can cancel the reservation up to 24 hours before the start of the first activity and there will be no cost. For payments with credit or debit card, the refund will be only 77%, due to transaction fees and taxes. In case the passenger does not show up on the day of the tour, there will be no refund of the amount paid (not even the value of the park entrances) When can LAYANA TRAVEL cancel an excursion? Altiplanic Winter/Bad Weather Fronts/Sand Storms: During the months of February and March, San Pedro de Atacama is affected by the Altiplanic Winter phenomenon; which brings with it thunderstorms, rain and strong winds. Therefore, some attractions are generally closed. Likewise, sometimes we are affected by bad weather fronts and/or sand storms, which can occur along the way, once arriving at the attractions or in the middle of the tour. In this situation, scheduled excursions may be suspended or you may have to return to San Pedro, if you were able to go on the tour. What do we do about this? If the excursion is suspended, depending on the passenger's available time, the tour can be rescheduled or 100% of the amount paid can be refunded.
